Primodrum trickle towers are brilliant additions to our drum filter systems. The are placed above water level and after the drum filters. 

Water is pumped from the outlet side of the filters up and into the spray bar at the top of the trickle tower. Biological media is placed in each tray of the tower. The oxygenated water flows down the trickle tower passing through the media and reacting with the bacteria housed in the media. This is hugely beneficial to reduce the nitrite and nitrate levels in your pond as well as the ammonia. At the same time increasing the oxygen levels.

The water can either return via a rim flow directly to your pond, or if you place the tower away from the pond, then it can return via 110mm outlets
